By now you know Halloween is a H-U-G-E deal in our family. My 8-year-old starts counting down to Halloween as soon as Summer break hits. Reading Halloween themed stories is one of our favorite ways to preserve the Halloween spirit each year. We try to read 31 classic Halloween stories each year – 1 per day in October. It’s a simple way to ensure we spend some quality time as a family each day and in the Fall that’s no easy feat with school, after-school activities, work, etc. By having a set time each night where we read a classic Halloween story it only helps us get excited about the holiday but makes it easier to spend time together.
