Let’s be honest, not everyone enjoys crafting or creating their own DIY party decor. It’s the internet age-old saying – Pinterest Mom or Amazon Mom. Personally, I run straight down the middle. Having the ability to order such fun and unique party decor from Amazon makes my prime lovin’ heart soar. Often times I have great ideas when it comes to my kids birthday parties, but I simply do not have time to do it all. Ordering from Amazon is a lifesaver when it comes to party planning.

What’s new?

Latest on Instagram

Instagram post 17935938763307969 It might be Saturday but I’m in the office plugging away. Simone woke up not feeling like herself and her Daddy is home so I’m taking full advantage.
There is so much fabulous holiday content coming over the next few weeks. Gift guides are already starting to pop up on the blog for those that are early shoppers like me!
How cute is my bride of Frankenstein mug? Coffee always tastes better in a holiday mug.
What are your plans on this beautiful Saturday?

Instagram post 17844774589693728 Another favorite of ours - Happy Halloween Stinkface. Poor little Stinkface worries about all the things that could go wrong on Halloween but all throughout the story Mom has a simple solution for every problem. My sweet Simone, as happy as she is, tends to worry about things out of her control. It’s up to me to think of solutions on the spot. Sometimes I succeed and other times I do not. Books like this are great for kids because they see themselves in the characters and realize they are not alone.

Instagram post 17859415036543968 Matching pajamas is one of my favorite holiday traditions! Thankfully my 8yr old still loves the novelty of holiday pajamas. Honestly, he would do anything to put a smile on his sisters face. He’s that guy which warms my heart. The Halloween pajamas we got this year are extra soft and vibrant. The kids love them! Simone already asked if the company has Christmas pajamas we can order. My girl always has Christmas on the brain. I wonder where she gets it from 🧐🤷🏻‍♀️🎃🥰👏🏻😅 Each night of October we read a Halloween story as a family. Tonight’s choice - How I Met My Monster became an instant favorite! It’s a sweet story both kids loved. There’s a link in my bio where you can find a list of the 31 books we are reading this year. Reading as a family is a wonderful way to build excitement leading to Halloween. It’s easily my favorite holiday tradition. Reading together is the best way to end the day!

Do you have any Halloween traditions you do each year? I’d love to hear about them. I’m always looking for something new to try.

Instagram post 18094986535075269 Any one that is a long time fan of mine, knows that my new business venture is all about celebrating life’s little every day moments.

Not every article is going to be holiday related, but instead will be centered around finding joy in the little things.

Yesterday we got to experience my son’s edible garden as part of his school’s Fall harvest unit. If you are a subscriber you know my husband and I decided to send my son to a new school this year. It was the most difficult decision we have made in his 8 wonderful years. He’s been in the same school since Pre- K with the same core group of friends. Thankfully we learned first hand that we made the right decision for him, and Tyler is thriving!
We are so lucky that he gets to experience a full functioning garden in which he plays an important role and gets to learn how to harvest his own ingredients to make delicious garden to table meals. We had the honor of trying fresh spring rolls that were incredibly delicious and prepared by both the adults and children.

As I said, the main focus of this business is to help my audience find ways to celebrate every day life while making memories that will last forever. Yesterday is a day I will remember celebrating for years to come. The joy in my son’s eyes is something I’ll never forget. It was that look that made me realize he’s found his place.
To cap off an incredible day we also learned that he is October’s Humanitarian of the Month for his class. Since school started he has continually shown kindness and caring towards others and will be honored for his work at the end of the month. Sometimes the hardest decisions in life turn out to be the best and most rewarding ones.

Bonus: My daughter also loves the school and all its amenities. We truly lucked out!
