Halloween movie nights are one my favorite holiday traditions. There are a ton of family-friendly Halloween movies to chose from these days – far more than when I was a child. In fact, Netflix and other streaming platforms release all-new Halloween movies each year making it super simple to find a great not-so-spooky movie to watch together.

My kids love Halloween movies so much they decided to catalog their favorites one hot and rainy Summer afternoon. I thought there might be other families that could find their list useful so I decided to share it with all of you. We did our best to break it down into categories to make finding your favorite Halloween movie a snap. My son is now ten so he asked if he could include a few scary movies in case there are other kids that enjoy a good ‘ole fashioned horror movie. We decided it would be ok to include those choices too but we left them for the end so we could keep this list more focused on family-friendly Halloween movies.

You can sign up for  Amazon Prime for FREE for 30 days and will have access to tons of movies on this list. It’s so convenient and makes planning a Halloween movie night easier than ever before!  Disney + is another great streaming service that has tons of Halloween titles available to watch.
