Christmas Lights Scavenger Hunt

Christmas traditions, lights and printables – oh my! It’s three of my favorite things wrapped up in one sweet holiday gift. As you know, this year I’m planning our Christmas activities as far in advance as possible because I’m determined to have a stress-free Christmas. This Christmas Lights Scavenger Hunt printable was created now so I can check something major off my holiday to-do list.  The ultimate goal for this year is to be COMPLETELY done with all of my shopping, baking, decorating and planning by December 1st.

As you know, one of my favorite Christmas traditions is taking my family around to see all of the light displays. We are lucky enough to live within minutes of the famous Dyker Heights Christmas lights. It gets better and better every year. 

This year I decided to make it even more exciting by printing out a Christmas Lights Scavenger Hunt for each of my kids. We clipped them onto boards with markers and off we went!

Before we left I told them what to be on the lookout for and gave them each a quick demonstration on how to check the box once the saw that item. The kids had a ball! I’m so happy we included this new tradition into the mix this year. I love finding fun, new ways to make Christmas magical.
